Our History
Sun Pro is your leading glass film provider for the Austin area. The company was started in 1982 by Skip Lloyd with the help of his two sons. The beginning of Sun Pro started in the solar control industry. The trio was dedicated to helping homeowners and business owners alike deal with the intense Texas sun. Since then the company has been passed on to Skip’s son Russell Lloyd. Russell has expanded Sun Pro into more than just solar control. Working on projects that vary from decorative, solar control, specialty privacy, security, and more. If it goes on flat glass (we don’t tint vehicle windows), Sun Pro can put it there. As a company, we are focused on solving our customers’ problems and bringing them options they may not know they had. The vision of Sun Pro will grow as we grow, expanding into more facets of the industry. We value our families, our employees, and mostly our customers.

Skip Lloyd began Sun Pro with the mission of providing solar control to homeowners, commercial properties, and interior designers. Later bringing his two sons to join the company and continue to provide the best to this day. When Skip decided to pass the company on to his son Russell Lloyd it was with the intention of keeping it family-owned.
